If you answered “yes” to any of these, keep reading, because we’ve got an awesome opportunity for you!

We’re hosting a Macaroni Kid Cooking Challenge (MKCC) for children ages 8-13 that will culminate with a live cooking competition on May 7 in Southampton, NY. We’ll be crowning two winners -- one for ages 8-10 and another for ages 11-13, who will each leave with an amazing grand prize package including:

• A Cuisinart Prize Pack valued at over $100​
• A US Savings Bond
• Hampton Culinary Experience, including a visit with Tate's Cookies Creator, Kathleen King
• A profile in Macaroni Kid EATS!

Want in? Here’s how it works. First, please register here and provide some basic information. Your child will then need to develop a new recipe and submit it, along with photos to the Macaroni Kid panel of judges. The younger children will be tasked with creating a dessert, while the older kids will need to develop a first course, appetizer-style recipe. 

The top three finishers in each age group will be invited to showcase their talents at the main MKCC event on May 7 in Southampton, NY, by creating an on-the-spot dish. Our three presenting sponsors, Cuisinart, Eggland’s Best and Produce for Kids and RealSweet® Sweet Onions, will be providing secret ingredients and kitchen appliances that must be incorporated into this final creation. These dishes will be tasted and voted on by our team of celebrity judges, and two lucky kids will win the title of MKCC Champion!
